With over 20 years of experience in museums and cultural heritage, Kari currently serves as retail manager at the National Museum of Civil War Medicine, Pry House Field Hospital Museum and Clara Barton Missing Soldiers Office Museum, and previously served as assistant manager of the David Wills House (Gettysburg, PA), director of the Sykesville Gate House Museum (MD), archival assistant at Springfield State Mental Hospital Museum (MD). She received the Destination Gettysburg's Tourism Star for 2012, the Certified Tourism Ambassador of the Year award in 2013 for the Journey Through Hallowed Ground (JTHG) and was a 2014 finalist for the JTHG Volunteer of the Year.
